Inclement Weather Updates
February 1, 6:30am Update:
The roads around the church are clear and we will operate on our normal schedule on Sunday, February 1. Please be cautious on campus as some walkways and areas of the parking lot may have patches of ice.
We know that some parishioners experienced more snow than others and we urge you to use your best discretion if venturing out today. The 9am and 2pm (Spanish) Masses will be livestreamed for those who would like to participate at home. Keep in mind that the Sunday obligation does not apply when it’s physically impossible to attend Mass in person.
If it’s safe for you to travel, we will continue with OCIA, Baptism class, Baptisms in Spanish, SAIL, Waypoint, and Lighthouse. For Baptism class, please contact the office if you would like to reschedule.
Formacion de Fe and Voices4Christ remain cancelled as previously announced.
What should we do when Mother Nature keeps us from gathering together at Sunday Mass?
Canon law (1248) states that our Sunday obligation does not apply when it’s physically impossible to attend Mass. With the treachourus road conditions in our area this weekend, it’s a relief to know that our safety can be a priority during the storm.
Even though the obligation is lifted, there are opportunities to have a personal encounter with the Lord from our homes. Consider watching a live stream Mass, meditating on the daily readings, or praying the Rosary.

Jan. 31 Update at 1:30pm: Due to the current weather system and potential for hazardous road conditions, we are cancelling this evening's Vigil Masses. All activities scheduled after 1:30pm are cancelled.
We will keep a close watch on the roads and will update if the Sunday schedule changes. Please use an abundance of caution if you are travelling today or tomorrow. May God protect you and your family

Jan. 31 Update at 11am: Formacion de Fe classes are cancelled for Saturday, Jan. 31 and Sunday Feb. 1.
Como ustedes ya saben, Formacion de fe sigue el calendario y las cancelaciones de Forsyth County School, por lo que este fin de semana se cancelaran las clases de Sabado y Domingo de catecismo. Sus maestras se comunicaran con ustedes y les dejaran trabajo a sus hijos para que lo entreguen en la siguiente clase y ese trabajo contara como su asistencia. Gracias. HOY SI VA A HABER MISA A LAS 7PM. Pero revisen la website por si se cancela.
