Lord Jesus,
I give you my hands to do your work.
I give you my feet to follow your path.
I give you my eyes to see as you see.
I give you my tongue to speak your words.
I give you my mind so you can think in me.
I give you my spirit so you can pray in me.
Above all I give you my heart so in me, you can love your Father and all people.
I give you my whole self so you can grow in me;
Till it is you, Christ,
Who live and work and pray in me.
St. Brendan the Navigator, pray for us.
Most Holy Mother of God, pray for us.
Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, commemorating Mary’s apparitions to three shepherd children in Portugal in 1917. The final apparition was witnessed not only by the children but also by thousands of others, including skeptics. This event became known as the “Miracle of the Sun.”
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
Lord Jesus,
Eternal Shepherd of souls!
Help men and women in our Parish hear the call to serve your Kingdom
as priests, deacons, and consecrated persons.
Send your Holy Spirit to help those you've chosen
to respond generously and courageously.
May our Parish community support these vocations of sacrificial love.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Today, as we celebrate the Annunciation of the Lord, we thank Mary for her “yes.” When the archangel Gabriel visited Mary and told her she would conceive and give birth to Jesus, her brave acceptance made her the very first Christian and sealed her pivotal role in salvation history. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
The funeral Mass for Father Michael Shannon will be Tuesday, March 24 at 11am. Visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10-10:45am. Father Michael will be buried at a later date in New York during a private ceremony with his family. Please pray for the repose of his soul and for his family. A link to an online book of condolences is posted in our bio.
With profound sadness and firm hope in the Resurrection, we ask you to join us in praying for the repose of the soul of Fr. Michael Shannon, LC, who passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning. He was 70 years old. Fr. Michael has been serving as our parochial vicar for the last four years and he brought joy to all he encountered.
We invite you to view the full press release in the comments and share your prayers and messages for his family. An online book of condolences will be made available soon.
On a dreary day like today, seeing the mosaic above the Chapel of the Resurrection finally installed feels like a beam of pure light breaking through. ☀️✨ Thank you to @mazzonimosaics for creating something so truly breathtaking.
This mosaic was made possible through the generosity of the family of Carl Meyer. It now stands as a symbol of hope, faith, and love for their family and for St. Brendan’s. It honors a man whose quiet wisdom, strength, and kindness continue to anchor them — and all of us — every single day.
A beautiful legacy, shining for generations to come. 💛
