American Heritage Girls provides a Christ-centered non-profit character development program to girls ages 5-18 with a mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. The program is built on six program emphases that address the spiritual, mental, physical and social needs of today’s young women. Similar to other scouting organizations, the girls receive awards and merit badges for their achievements in these areas
An American Heritage Girl will be asked to adhere to the Creed; “I promise to be: Compassionate, Helpful, Honest, Loyal, Perseverant, Pure, Resourceful, Respectful, Responsible, and Reverent” and to be active participants in the bi-monthly meetings.
Participants will serve the parish and community in many ways as girls are required to perform service hours each year.
St Brendan's AHG Troop Meetings are held typically weekly, except during the summer, at the Church. Service projects and events are scheduled throughout the entire school year. Please email [email protected] for more information.
