Purpose
The Finance Council is organized to support the Pastor in his stewardship of parish resources while being accountable to the parish.
Responsibilities
The Finance Council is responsible for promoting the financial health of St. Brendan’s, assuring accountability and assisting the Pastor with the responsibility for the temporal affairs of the parish.
Helpful Attributes
The Council seeks members with skill or expertise in finance, management, business, law, accounting, communication, banking, computer systems. Marketing and purchasing skills are additional helpful attributes.
Training & Time Commitment
The Finance Council meets quarterly except during budget season, at which time they meet at least monthly.
