Preschool Teachers
We’re looking for preschool teachers for the 2026-2027 school year for children ages 15 months - 5 years. This is a part-time, weekday position from 8:30am-1:00pm with all Forsyth County school breaks off. A college degree or certification in education, childcare or child development preferred but not required.

Bilingual Receptionist
We're looking for a part-time Receptionist on Wednesdays and Thursdarys from 9am-4pm and Fridays from 9am-1pm. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, as well as a strong knowledge of the Catholic faith. This position welcomes all visitors, provides information about the Parish, and directs inquiries as appropriate for services needed. The Receptionist interprets and executes responsibilities with limited supervision while maintaining strict confidentiality. Qualified candidates demonstrate an ability to prioritize multiple assignments, have proficiency in Microsoft Office, and are fluent in English and Spanish. The position may include creating and utilizing spreadsheets and databases to collect and analyze information. This assignment is three days per week with a maximum of 20 hours each week.

Middle School Youth Minister and Youth Faith Formation Assistant
We have an immediate opening for a part time Middle School Youth Minister and Youth Faith Formation Assistant (24-28 hours per week). The Middle School Youth Minister and YFF Assistant is responsible for the planning and coordination of the WayPoint middle school program at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, with oversight from the Director of Youth Faith Formation. They also assist the Director of Youth Faith Formation with any youth faith formation specific responsibilities and events.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate all Middle School Youth Ministry events including, but not limited to, WayPoint nights, middle school retreat, bible study, SNL Nights in the Summer.
- Attend Youth Faith Formation department meetings and assist with annual planning of curriculum/programming, while observing all Parish and Archdiocesan policies and procedures.
- Recruit, train, and develop the CREW and CORE leadership team through ongoing meetings, formal/informal communication of WayPoint session plans, and Catechist training workshops.
- Assist with WayPoint registrations and maintain accurate attendance and data records.
- Maintain consistent, professional, and courteous communications when working with the other St. Brendan’s staff members and especially with the youth and parish families.
- Comply with procedures for Facility Requests, Maintenance Requests or Check requests, needed for youth ministry events and submit requests to the appropriate departments.
- Comply with all Safe Environment policies for dealing with the youth, both in person and in social media, and refer matters to the Director of YFF, or other appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Continue professional formation and education in Youth Ministry practice.
- Assist at scheduled Parent Information Sessions in the Fall regarding YFF Registrations.
- Assist at scheduled tabling events on Saturday and Sunday Masses for Catechist Recruitment.
- Assist at First Communion and Confirmation special events, rehearsals and Masses.
- Assist at YFF events including, but not limited to, Parish Festivals, Cumming Christmas Parade, Parish Missions, and Evangelization/Discipleship events.
- Assist the High School Youth Minister with retreat planning and preparation whenever possible.

Confirmation Coordinator for Formación de Fe
We have an immediate opening for a part-time Confirmation Coordinator for our Spanish Faith Formation program (Formación de Fe). This position is responsible for planning and coordinating the high school Confirmation program and events with oversight from the Director of Formación de Fe. The Confirmation Coordinator oversees all sacramental preparation requirements and works directly with volunteers and staff. This position is in person several hours a week with some exemptions to work remotely. Ideal candidates have proficiency in Microsoft Office and are fluent in English and Spanish. Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading Confirmation Classes according to the Calendar and USCCB requirements.
- Preparing Classes with young adult catechists.
- Recruiting and training young adult catechists to act as leaders and small groups guides through regular meetings.
- Managing and ensuring all confirmation prep requirements are tracked, met, and submitted to the Department Registrar. Including attendance and service hours.
- Maintaining consistent and timely communication with the Confirmation parents regarding upcoming important dates and deadlines for sacramental prep requirements.
- Planning and help executing annual Confirmation retreat including, but not limited to, weekend scheduling, confirming and handling venue/transportation contracts, recruiting chaperones/speakers, purchasing supplies, and preparing all necessary retreat materials.
- Organizing and overseeing all Confirmation eligible service projects.
- Coordinating a Confirmation celebration with the bishop’s office and St. Brendan staff. Supervising activities during the event.
- Complying with procedures for Facility Requests, Maintenance Requests or Check requests, needed for youth ministry events and submit requests to the appropriate departments.
- Complying with all Safe Environment policies for dealing with youth, both in person and on social media, and refering matters to the Director of Formación de Fe.
- Continuing professional formation and education in Youth Ministry through attendance at Archdiocesan meetings and by pursuing basic certification in Catechesis/Youth Ministry.
