Funerals and Memorial Services

"At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun inthe waters of Baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the Church intercedes on behalf of the deceased because of its confident belief that death is not the end, nor does it break the bonds forged in life. The Church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting Word of God and the Sacrament of the Eucharist."  (Order of Christian Funerals, no. 4)

  • Make Arrangements

To begin planning a funeral or memorial service at St. Brendan email Deacon Luis Carlos Llorza or call 770-205-7969 x43.

These services are typically held on weekday afternoons.  Planning at St. Brendan often begins after the Funeral Home arrangements are complete.

Deacon Luis Carlos Llorza will coordinate all liturgical details and provide a printed program on the day of the service.  In addition, we can livestream the service at the families request.

After the service, our Funeral Reception Committee can provide homemade refreshements and a welcoming atmosphere for groups of 100 or less in our Social Hall.
