Hello, my name is Don Conklin. I am the Director of Adult Faith Formation at St. Brendan’s. Welcome to the lifelong process of enriching and developing our faith through ongoing efforts to get closer to our Lord and His Church.
We will show you a wide variety of opportunities to help you grow in your Catholic faith. We believe in educating the whole person: intellectually, spiritually, humanly and apostolically. Our goal is to equip you to participate fully in our Church’s mission: Go, Baptize and Teach!

Marriage Enrichment Event
With all that is happening with marriage and families in today’s society, married couples need ideas and concepts that will help keep the spark and romance alive in their relationship by focusing on better ways to communicate with one another and to better understand the differences that exist between husband and wife. Men’s Prayer Group
This group provides a forum for men of the parish to gather together to share their faith and discuss their thoughts about daily life as Catholics. Learn to integrate faith and life while meeting with others for great fellowship and prayerful reflection

Voyagers Book Club
A women’s spirituality group that helps women to learn about their faith, come into a fuller realization of God’s presence in their everyday experiences, and grow in relationship with God and each other. We choose current books to read and reflect on God’s love.

Thursday Evening Faith Study
An in-depth study – Psalms for All Seasons—using the Little Rock Scripture Series for the basis of the study will have everyone exploring 55 of the most beautiful psalms in the Bible. Through examination of the structure, vocabulary, and themes of these psalms the author engages each example as a stunning prayer for the twenty-first century. The cost of the series is $25 which includes the Commentary Book and two Study Guides—Psalms I and Psalms II.

Women’s Evenings-(LIFT!) Living In Faith Together
Gather with the women of St. Brendan’s and guests for a good meal (that you don’t cook), an upLIFTing talk and some great discussion on relevant topics of faith for women today in a relaxing setting. This will be an opportunity to build friendships, engage with others while sharing your faith and leave with a nugget of truth that may challenge you and provide a real faith-LIFT! 6:00 Optional Mass

Walking with Purpose
Walking with Purpose is for women who desire to grow in their faith using a Scripture-based program that is fresh, relevant and focused on conversion of heart more than intellectual development. Personal study and small group discussions will link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. All ages and stages of life are welcome – come as you are today! Registration for participation in weekly small study groups with study guide.

Calling all Moms! Take a short break after dropping the kids off at school and enjoy some fellowship with other moms in the trenches. It is very therapeutic to hear that you are not alone in your daily struggles, and this group provides a great forum to exchange field tested Catholic based parenting methods and ideas. Feel free to bring little ones, but no separate childcare will be available.

RCIA- Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
This program is designed for adults who wish to enter the Catholic Church for the first time or who need to complete the sacrament of confirmation. “That Man is You” honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers.
