In addition to being a young, vibrant middle school youth group, WayPoint is our Confirmation prerequisite foundational building catechesis middle school program. The nautical term, WayPoint, refers to an intermediate point or place on a route or line of travel, a stopping point or point at which course is change. Middle School is definitely that point that you stop and perhaps even change course as you prepare for high school. Our goal is to help set a Godly path. WayPoint, St. Brendan’s middle school youth program, uses the Edge curriculum from LifeTeen. Please Click Here to find out more about this curriculum. This ministry is focused on reaching teens, helping them to encounter Christ and form a personal relationship with Him, feeding their faith and love for the Catholic Church, and sending them into their world to live as Christians.

WayPoint will meet on Sunday nights from 6:15 to 8:15 during the school year. We invite to enroll your seventh grader and begin the journey in WayPoint. What a wonderful investment in your child's faith life! Looking ahead at Confirmation prep, you MUST enrolled in the 7th and 8th grades to complete the two consecutive years of mandatory catechesis in order to be confirmed in the 10th grade, Please Click Here for all the details on the Journey to Confirmation.

WayPoint Middle School Youth Group takes place most Sunday evenings from 6:15pm- 8:15pm at Shiloh Point Elementary School. Any middle school student in 7th – 8th grade registered at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church is welcomed to register.
