Several pastoral care organizations and opportunities exist at St. Brendan’s to meet the needs of our growing community.

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; they are self-supporting through their own contributions.

Al-anon offers strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship.

The Metropolitan Tribunal serves the people of the Archdiocese who wish to have their previous marriage investigated to determine if there is a case for seeking a declaration of invalidity. Any person wishing to determine the applicability of this process for their situation should contact a case sponsor at St. Brendan’s. Please contact the parish office to schedule a confidential meeting.
The case sponsor gives one-on-one pastoral support, practical assistance and serves as a contact point to The Tribunal during the annulment process.
Training & Time Commitment
Parish case sponsors receive special training by The Tribunal and serve at the request of the pastor.
In association with Catholic Charities of Atlanta, we can provide a variety of affordable counseling services for families or individuals. Please contact their confidential intake/appointment line at 404-733-3527.
