Women’s Council

Purpose:	To unite the women of the parish in fellowship, to acquaint them with the ministries and activities of the parish and to enable them to serve the parish more effectively We are looking for women of all ages from our parish community to unite in fellowship in several social events throughout the year such as Ladies Night Out, Movie Night, Bunco, water aerobics, Christmas party and more. The women are acquainted with the various ministries through guest speakers at our monthly meetings. We serve our parish through various activities including sponsoring a dance social, family movie nights, selling raffle tickets for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cancer Home, ice cream social, women’s tea, resurrection celebrations, baking and serving at various receptions and other events.
Responsibilities:	Fundraising, adult social events, family social events, and community outreach projects.
Helpful Attributes:	Looking for involvement in the parish community.
Time Commitment:	If you would like to get involved with a fun and easygoing group of women, you have come to the right place. There is no commitment requirement – be as involved as you’d like to be.
Meetings	We meet montly on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm typically in the Spiritual Life Center April 11, 2012 May 9, 2012
