WEDDING COORDINATORS
| Purpose: |
Wedding coordinators assist both the bride and groom, at no charge, in the “ordinary” problems of a rehearsal and practice for the wedding so that they can focus on the extraordinary sacrament into which they are about to enter. |
| Responsibilities: |
The priest and music staff help each couple to plan their wedding liturgy and the wedding coordinators ensure that the rehearsal and the wedding liturgy run smoothly, are in keeping with Church guidelines, and are, above all, joyful celebrations. |
| Helpful Attributes: |
Ministers who have knowledge of the Church, the Mass, and the rite of marriage are welcome to join this ministry. These ministers should be comfortable communicating with and working with people. |
| Training & Time Commitment: |
Most volunteer time is spent on weekends. |
