Baptism
Baptism preparation is for any registered adult of the parish who has a child younger than catechetical age (7 yrs.) who needs to be baptized. The goal is to help parents realize and enter into the commitment of faith that they are making for their child.
To prepare for this sacrament, we ask parents to attend our baptism preparation session. These sessions are usually held once a month. A family seeking baptism must be registered as parishioners of St. Brendan for 3 months.
Volunteers are welcome to assist with this ministry. Couples who want to share their experiences in Christian parenting who also are faithful members of the parish may want to help with the baptismal preparation sessions.
