Teen Confirmation Preparation
Welcome to St. Brendan’s Teen Confirmation Program! This is an exciting time in the life of your teen and your family.
Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation which celebrates the reality that the Holy Spirit is already alive in us and working through us. As with all sacraments, Confirmation should be entered into freely and with an open heart.
Our program is designed to prepare a well-rounded Candidate. Over the next 2 years, candidates will have retreat experiences and will attend a sacramental preparation week and LightHouse, our youth faith formation program. They will also be responsible for service projects. In addition, early in each year of preparation, students and parents will meet to discuss and review the program requirements and expectations.
Our hope is that through this program, students will gain and understanding that faith formation does not end with Confirmation, but it is a lifelong process. God is always calling us to a deeper relationship.

ADULT CATHOLICS SEEKING CONFIRMATION
Are you an adult Catholic who has never received Confirmation? We invite you to take part in the ten-month process of preparation to receive this essential sacrament at Easter. Weekly sessions take place on Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 10:45 am. These sessions run from early August through May. Then at the Easter Vigil Mass each year, those who have continued the process faithfully enter the Church and receive any of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation) that they have not yet received.
How do I find out more about the RCIA? Please contact Don Conklin at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you don’t have email access, you can call the parish office at 770-205-7969. Don will be happy to meet with you to discuss the RCIA.
