Stephen Ministry
Our one-on-one care giving ministers, who are members of our church, are trained to provide emotional and spiritual care to people who are hurting. God works through Stephen Ministers to plant a seed of hope and healing in a person who is experiencing a time of difficulty or crisis.
What Do Stephen Ministers Do?

Lonely? Sad? Discouraged? “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 Are you, a friend, neighbor, coworker, or relative going through a tough time – emotionally or spiritually? Struggling with a crisis in life? Or feeling down? You do not need to bear your burden alone. Consider letting a Stephen Minister help. It’s confidential, free and very helpful. Stephen Ministers Care for People Facing Difficulties
Stephen Ministers are there to provide emotional and spiritual care when we face challenges in our lives. They offer their support as a caring Christian friend when we face a difficulty or crisis, such as:
- Loss of a loved one
- Hospitalization
- Divorce or separation
- Loneliness or discouragement
- Spiritual crises
- Unemployment or job crisis
- Terminal illness
- Incarceration
- Aging
- Birth, adoption, miscarriage, or trouble conceiving
- Chronic illness
- Relocation
- Recovering after an accident
- Support for the family and friends of people in crisis
- and much more.
Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry. The identity of those receiving care and what takes place within the caring relationship remains private.
