COMMUNITY GARDEN
| Purpose: |
To feed the people in front of us … our neighbors and those in our community by supplementing the St. Joseph Food Pantry with fresh produce. |
| Responsibilities: |
Volunteers will plant and maintain the Garden in an environmental and sustainable way. Different levels of involvement include: purchasing a garden box on the property and maintaining it; growing a box at home and giving the excess to the Food Pantry; provide extra produce from an existing home garden to the Food Pantry; or to donating materials to the Garden. |
| Helpful Attributes: |
A love of gardening or wanting to learn how to garden. |
| Training & Time Commitment: |
No previous experience necessary. A commitment to maintain boxes. |
